Safeguarding Children (Scotland)

Safeguarding children involves promoting their welfare by ensuring they grow up in circumstances where their health, development and wellbeing aren’t impaired, as well as taking action to protect them from harm. By the end of this module you’ll be able to recognise signs of abuse, respond to and record disclosures, know how to report a concern and understand how Scottish legislation affects policies and procedures.
